Long overdue updates, last time I updated my journal was at the end of January. I had to because I had just received a DD but at the time I could barely sit more than 5 or 10 minutes.

First, I just noticed that some anonymous deviant gave me a one month subscription. I hope I didn't notice too long after the fact without thanking them. So, whoever you are and it would be nice to know   thank you so much, I really appreciate   I just noticed it the day before my birthday, so I'll take it as a birthday gift

Second, I've been feeling better since I last posted in my journal. Let's say that I'm probably now at 80%, enough that I can now sit and create. Physiotherapy, walking and stabilization and stretching exercises are improving my disc hernia. I have two new images to post, I've just been procrastinating    The first one is one I completed back in December before my back made it impossible for me to sit down. The second one, I completed recently. I will post them soon, I think I've been a bit enthusiastic about being able to create and I'm still a bit limited, I can't stay in front of my computer as much as I used to and I try to get up and move more often. I've become a bit selfish with my time on the computer   

Last but not least,   (on DA staff) has a monthly column in Digital Artist magazine, talking about deviantART news, trends and updates but also featuring the artwork of three deviants. She chose my mermaid for issue 17. I was really happy and flattered that my image was chosen among all the images and artists of DA, I just couldn't believe it. I couldn't find the magazine issue on the stands, because it was 3 issues back when I found out, so I wrote the magazine and they said they would send me a copy. Here is a copy of her column: [link]
